How to measure your ring size at home

1. Using a String or Thread

  • What You Need: A piece of string/thread, a ruler, and a pen or marker.

  • Steps:

    1. Wrap the string around the base of your finger (not too tight or too loose).

    2. Mark the point where the string meets.

    3. Lay the string flat and measure the length (in millimeters) using a ruler.

    4. Compare the measurement to a ring size chart to find your size.

2. Using Paper Strip

  • What You Need: A thin strip of paper, a ruler, and a pen.

  • Steps:

    1. Cut a strip of paper about 10 cm long and 1 cm wide.

    2. Wrap the strip snugly around the base of your finger.

    3. Mark the point where the paper overlaps.

    4. Measure the marked length with a ruler in millimeters.

    5. Refer to a ring size chart for the corresponding size.

3. Using a Ring You Already Own

  • What You Need: A ring that fits well and a ruler.

  • Steps:

    1. Place the ring on a flat surface.

    2. Measure the inner diameter of the ring (in millimeters).

    3. Use a ring size chart to match the diameter to the correct size.
